I do love my parents. But they know absolutely nothing about wine. My mum's idea of a decent vintage is Hock from Sainsbury's. 'I never knew they made wine in New Zealand,' she said in awe today. My dad is more of a Blue Nun boy. He went to a wine tasting session once, he told me, when I tried to tell him about the course Handbag, Nick and I attended this year, and he couldn't believe the rubbish everyone was spouting. I suppose he wouldn't have much truck with my 'pale winter sunshine' moments.
