Not just any wine ... but a damn fine wine!
From M and S, Macon Villages, Apellation Controlle Macon Villages, 2004 (I think).
Lovely white burgundy, unoaked Chardonnay.
Was soooooooooooooo nice, all appley and crisp but not too sharp. Some peach notes and well rounded and extremely moreish. About to become my new fave wine:)
Am expecting big things of unoaked chardonnays this year, think chardonnay is set to make a comeback!!

Did you get to the London Wine and Spirits Fair last year? There were some great wines there, along with some rose flavoured vodka which was a bit peculiar at 9am in teh morning.
It's free, and will be back in May 2006.

I wandered over here, and love it! I'm a fan of wine, mainly the reds, but I'm always looking for a good white.
Any other recommendations? I'm a fan of Merlot and Cabernet, but I've just gotten into some Pinot and Chianti. For whites, I just like it crisp and easy to drink. :)
On the white front for me at the moment its all about the unoaked french chardonnays and white burgundys:)
